Our (okay, we’ll admit it – cooler) cousin Fat Out Fest is back to take on the hallowed Maxwell Hall alongside long-time friends Grey Lantern, who are boasting their 15 year anniversary in 2026!

Grey Lantern has been an independent promoter in Manchester for around a decade and has been involved with Sounds From The Other City for much of that, previously bringing the likes of Lorenzo Senni, Not Waving, Snapped Ankles and many more to Salford over previous editions. Often left-of-centre. Rarely confined by genre. Never dull.

FAT OUT has been a passionate champion of the underground scene both locally and internationally. A classic Fat Out show is a combination of challenging, intense, experimental, queer and downright rowdy music.
