Another brand new SFTOC collaboration, we are delighted to welcome Grey Lantern and Fair Play along for the ride again in 2024. Having indvidually programmed some of our favourite acts of the past few years, we’re excited to see what they have in store for this year.

Grey Lantern has been an independent promoter in Manchester for around a decade and has been involved with Sounds From The Other City for much of that, previously bringing the likes of Lorenzo Senni, Not Waving, Snapped Ankles and many more to Salford over previous editions. Often left-of-centre. Rarely confined by genre. Never dull.

FAIR PLAY does what it says on the tin by creating a fair playing field; equal opportunity for all , a communal, collaborative event and a diverse lineup that’s fair and accessible (inclusive of genre, gender, sexuality, race and beyond).
