Two brand new selectors for Sounds 2024, get to know DIYD and Dreams of Decay….

Birthed from a mutual love of left field electronics, experimentation and the visual arts,  Dreams of Decay exists as a conduit for underrepresented artists locally and further afield. Proceedings usually involve collaborations, one off performances and immersive projects as well as records selected by  resident dj, Neon Eyes.

With its beginnings as a community queer/disabled artist-led darkroom in Islington Mill, DIYD has grown to become an experiential mission championing underground artists of Manchester, Salford and beyond through events, curation and documentation using analogue media formats.
