Sophia Dignam brings a different register to the lineup. Working through improvisation and extended viola techniques, she builds pieces around texture and contrast, with live processing from Tommy Harris bending the sound further out of shape. Sitting somewhere between composition and experiment, it’s an intriguing chance to experience something outside of its usual context.
