Formed between Northampton (Sam) and San Diego (Emma), and now rooted in Manchester, samxemma introduced their shapeshifting DIY pop world via self-released 2023 debut EP Athens, with second EP HOT PEOPLE MAKE HOT MUSIC arriving in 2025.

They’ve sold out headline shows in Manchester and London, been selected as a ReBalance artist by Festival Republic, performed at The Great Escape, Latitude Festival, Live at Leeds In The City and Kendal Calling, and received support from Dork (HYPE Cover), Wonderland, Notion, The Line of Best Fit, DIY Magazine and Popjustice, alongside being named BBC Radio 1’s Introducing Artist of the Week and one of Spotify’s First Listen RADAR artists.

Continuing to refine a sound that balances high-impact electronic pop with emotional candour, samxemma move forward with increasing clarity and intent.
