London-raised with mixed Moroccan, French and Slavic roots, 1/2 of Omaueze, and Club Rez resident. Omašta has a sound forged in the melting pot of his upbringing, then warped through a love of sci-fi soundscapes, and club music scenes from all over the globe. Inspired by wide ranging genres including afro-portugeuse batida, arabic rap, neo-grime, amapiano, singeli and latin bass, Omašta has performed at festivals and venues big and small, in Sheffield and beyond, melding dance-focused, absorbing and transportive sounds throughout.
