MEGA-LEGZ is a new installation artwork from Julia Roy-Williams & Almost Cool. Guided by their shared creative values of Materiality, Process & Play, we’re delighted to host them to create this new piece especially for the festival.
With the duo flexing their creative muscles, through digital design and 3D print skills. Expect a high-kickin’ colourful kinetic sculpture, constructed from bio plastics, repurposed and recycled materials.
Julia Roy Williams is a creative practitioner, designer and educator. Driven by her interest in the interaction of people and their environment, her practice has expanded to include site specific artwork, interior and product design. Optimistic and future thinking; Julia is currently developing innovative recycling solutions for plastic waste. A zero-waste studio is her goal.
Almost Cool are Duggie Dundas & Jamie Lee-Wainman, a creative studio based in Manchester. Both recent graduates of Manchester Art School’s 3D Design Degree, they’re guided by their shared values of Play and Humour. They express their creativity through the use of digital design skills, utilising 3D Printing & Laser Cutting to create their work.
