MARiMARi makes music for the eyeliner emo kids with a sugary pop addiction. Growing up in the North East and on a diet of Paramore, J-pop & Charli XCX, MARiMARi’s music showcased a vulnerable boldness with reflections on teen-hood, femininity & self expression. Her Japanese-British background has informed a myriad of experiences which have influenced her sonic and stylistic choices.
