Good Afternoon | Sounds From The Other City – Sounds From The Other City
Salford's festival of new music and art
Four people looking down at the camera

Good Afternoon are four friends with far reaching musical tastes that converge with disco, italo, soul, funk, post punk and pop. GA began as an afternoon social back in 2008. The parties first took place in The Salutation as a way of getting friends together to listen to records. Since then GA have put on parties in a whole host of places: from car parks to boats to taking over whole hotels. You can catch them regularly in the Mancunian suburbs playing relaxed vinyl sets at Strangebrew and Head, or sometimes find them out and about a bit later at one of Manchester’s queer nights. They have also been regular party starters at Sounds from the Other City festival, Bluedot Festival and recently played Factory International’s Pride Weekend.
