Fastlove B2B Aiden Francis

Belfast born and Manchester based Fastlove is one half of the brains behind one of the North’s longest standing queer parties, High Hoops and a resident dj at Freak Queer Rave. An advocate for diverse and inclusive dancefloors, he has been responsible for bringing the likes of DJ Sprinkles, Eris Drew, Carista, Powder and plenty more to the party capital of the North over the last 9 years. Now venturing solo with his new side project, Fastlove shares his love of sexy rolling house music and high energy trance-tinged heaters.

Aiden Francis

Emerging on labels such as Magic Carpet, Duality Trax, Gestalt, Radiant Records and Houseum; Aiden Francis’ has delved into driving tech house, glistening trance and soft but firm electro all whilst keeping his fingers dipped into the progressive. This diversity has seen him become a vibrant presence in the effervescent Manchester music scene and beyond. Developing a distinctive sound that is forward thinking yet nostalgic, he intends to carry the ethereal laden clubland sound of the millennium forward into new realms.

An avid record collector of over 10 years, Francis’ pure passion for vibrant and diverse underground music radiates through his sets where he is known to release constraint and effortlessly drift between the different facets of the dance music spectrum whilst still providing highly energetic experiences. Psy-laden techno, UK-centric tech house, hands in the air progressive meuxments are coherently weaved into acid-tinged breakbeats, tribal deviations and innocuous hard house through the course of a set.

This varied approach to DJing has found Aiden’s name appear behind the booth at renowned clubs such as Macadam, The White Hotel, PRST and Renate. You can hear examples of his multi-faceted sets in mix contributions for Radiant Records, High Hoops, The Lot Radio and Powered by Rec aswell as other sonic journeys floating about the internet.

The only way is up for Aiden, he is not one to be missed.
