Electronic-pop duo Beck Pocket melds larger-than-life pop production with influences of deep house and liquid funk. Lovers of all things maximalist, glitchy and nostalgic, the Manchester-based duo write the soundtrack to a pixelated world where ethereal synths meet groovy basslines. Their EP ‘all your dreams’ sees bassist/vocalist Viv Griffin and keyboardist Jasper Clarke reflect on growing up through introspective bangers. Inspired by the hyper-futuristic imagery in late 90’s/early 2000’s media, as well as video game soundtracks, their musings on childhood optimism are set to energetic bass lines and euphoric synths. Their love of experimentation led them to resample sections of their own music, chopping them up and spitting them back out as glitchy, house-influenced rhythms throughout the project.
