Bad Uncle Rises From The Grave ft. Grotbags, Shredding & Big Other

Looook whose back……could we celebrate 20 years without Bad Uncle?? Probably?? Have we?? NAHHHH! Having given us some of our most memorable festival moments like Blind Date, SFTOC Tv and that band we shall not speak of…Bad Uncle are back for 2 hours of mayhem up on the 5th floor of Islington Mill. Who have they booked…..we will give you one bloody guess!

When a band proclaims themselves “The Greatest Band in the World” and nobody opposes it then it’s probably true. When Grotbags proclaims they are “The SFTOC house band” and nobody opposes it then it’s probably true. This is the last bloody time…probably!

Prepared to annihilate the guitar military industrial complex are mysterious and contemptuous new band Shredding, “the sound of the worst people in the world winning”. They go hard as hell, and have a morbid fascination with the mystical powers of Elvis. For fans/members of Mumbles, Oh Hippo, Flesh Couch etc.

Big Other are a brand new indie band from Manchester making brash, off-kilter alt-rock inspired by the Pixies, Veruca Salt, Sonic Youth, and Elastica. Their second single Desire in the Other has just come out on Alphaville Records, and their first EP will be released this spring.
