The Old Pint Pot Downstairs

colour photograph of people socialising at night in the old pint pot garden

Sat on the banks of the River Irwell. Set over two floors. A wraparound water’s edge beer garden. These are only a few of the reasons the  Old Pint Pot is not only one of the areas hidden gems, but a Sounds from the Other City staple for well over a decade now.

It’s two floors of sticky carpet and concrete floor have seen moments that eyes will never forget. It’s debut outing in 2010 saw the likes of Wu Lyf and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs play to a packed house that culminated in a bar drank dry of everything but Blu Wkd. Since then its seen early day shows that have spanned Lapalux to the The Orielles and epic sets from DJ Q to Optimo.

We are delighted to be back on the banks of the Irwell again for this year.
