What do the 2023 ticket tiers mean?

There are 3 ticket tiers this year, each with limited availability.

There is no difference in the festival access for each of these tiers – all ticket holders and guests get the same access, there is no such thing as a VIP section at Sounds!

For 2023 we decided to put all our tickets on sale at the same price, so that those who could afford to can opt to pay slightly more for their ticket. We’re amazed and humbled at the amount of people who have taken the decision to do just this – thank you, to all of you!

This means there are more of the lower price tickets available for those who have more limited financial means, meaning better access for more people.

However, the lower tiers are not available forever so please don’t put off buying your ticket!

Check the ticket page for more information and latest availability.

Can I buy a separate ticket for individual stages

No, there is only one ticket to SFTOC. We firmly believe in championing new artists and ideas and we want everyone to step into our melting pot of discovery as equals. Your wristband will grant entry to all daytime and afterparty venues, subject to capacity.

Can I get a personal assistant or carer ticket?

Yes you can. Please email [email protected] under the heading ‘personal assistant ticket’ with proof of your ticket purchase and eligibility.

Below are a few of the types of proof of eligibility we accept, but please do email us with your individual circumstances and we will do our very best to accommodate:

  • Middle or Higher rate DLA for care and/or mobility
  • Receipt of Enhanced Rate Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
  • Or Registered Deaf or Blind

Does my child need a ticket?

Children aged 13 and under are admitted free when accompanied by a ticket-holding adult. It’s worth bringing some ID if they look older than 13.

Everyone aged 14 or over on Sunday April 30th 2023 (the day of the event ), must have bought a full ticket.

Anyone under the age of 18 wishing to attend the festival MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian over the age of 25.

Please note that a lot of the venues at SFTOC are temporary or non-standard venue spaces and do not have baby changing facilities. We advise that all children wear ear defenders when inside venues with live music and djs.
