| Sounds From The Other City – Sounds From The Other City
Salford's festival of new music and art • 5th May 2024 •

Is there a schedule?

If you want to plan your day, the live schedule is available here. Please note that in an endeavour to reduce our waste there will NOT be printed programmes available. If you wish to bring a printed copy of the schedule we recommend that you print the downloadable programme or the Clashfinder version at home and bring it with you – both are available from the Schedule page linked above. All stage times are subject to change. Any changes on the day will be posted on social media and the schedule page as soon as we know.

Can I pay by cash or card?

Most bars and vendors across the festival are cashless.

There are some venues, such as The New Oxford, The Old Pint Pot and Porta, which also accept cash.

Note that unfortunately, due to licensing, it is not possible to take drinks between venues.

Do you have a safer spaces policy?

Sounds from the Other City is proud of standing for the ‘Other’ and always will stand against any form of ableism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, xenophobia & racism. Any form of sexual harassment, physical violence or discrimination is unacceptable at our festival. This includes unwanted sexual comments or contact, verbal abuse and use of threatening or intimidating language. If you would like to know more about our policy please visit this page.

Will photography & filming be taking place?

There will be festival photographers and film crews around the site recording the day’s events for us. We assume that by attending, all wristband holders are consenting to being included in any photographs and footage, however if you would prefer to be excluded just contact us on info@soundsfromtheothercity.com and we will ensure we don’t use any identifiable images of you.
