Art Direction

This year’s festival art direction is brought to you by Miss Krystal Balls, the cosmic creation of New York based artist and long time Salford affiliate Stina Puotinen.

Miss Krystal first appeared at the festival as part of our 2018 festival, one of a host characters created by Stina, together with artist and resident illustrator Dave Bailey, as part of our fictional SoundsTown takeover.

Since then Ms K B has gone to become our resident fortune telling soothsayer, with a monthly horoscope on our Reform Radio Show. This year she returns to Salford in real life, for one day only. She’s already hatching plans to make your SFTOC 23 experience the most cosmic, the most karmic and the most chaotic you can have on this planet or the next.
