What makes Sounds from the Other City “a communal, boundary-free experience” and “an enthralling depiction of the music and arts scene“?

Well the answer is pretty simple. Rather than programme a festival from one small programming team, each year we invite an expansive group of some of the most exciting, enduring and open-minded record labels, live promotors, radio stations, magazines and club nights to programme the sounds they are most excited about Right Now. These are the people that work 9-5 and 5-9, 365 days of year to make the regions creative life so vital and exciting.
