Introducing Swinton Sounds!
It’s less than two weeks now till we pack up our bags and take our box of musical tricks on the short journey up the road to Swinton; Salford’s civic centre, birthplace of Corrie’s Tony Warren and our home for a weekend in June!
Ushering in the heart of midsummer in Salford, Swinton Sounds is a brand new, free event, bringing a weekend of pop-up music and entertainment across Swinton’s centre. You can expect our signature colourful mix of emerging music, good times and hitting all the right notes.
In true Sounds spirit, we’ll be joined by a host of friends and collaborators, each throwing their own ingredients into the melting pot. Look out for the BBC Philharmonic’s Musical Story of the Gingerbread Man, Walk the Plank’s Emperor’s New Stage, and a mini Salford Mad Pride, mixed in with some of the best new music from across Greater Manchester.
