A bit about us

Sounds from the Other City is created and produced by From The Other. We are a small majority-female-led organisation that has grown organically from our own freelance careers. In 2021 we took the decision to bring together our main projects, Sounds From The Other City, Fat Out Fest and Samarbeta, to form a year-round organisation that can deliver even more events in the same spirit of curiosity, collaboration, humanity, openness, freedom and fun – find out more here.

We enjoy working with a diverse group of freelancers, including a significant representation of womxn and non binary people. We want to hear from authentic and self-driven people, from any walk of life and at any stage of their careers, who want to be part of our growing events team.
